I really feel sorry for this guy... He's so completely out of it ..... Is this a common place happening?
that's a woman/girl, methinks. so cool to see a curve like this in your shots that are usually rectangle-y composed. i'm sure there's a better way to refer to that photographically. heh. was she being silly, under the influence, a little short of cards in her deck, or just emphasising "I'm TIRED" or a statement similar?

My sister-in-law had her first child that day and I hoped to show her what was going on in the city that day. she had to move when she got married and really misses NY.
As regards official transit rules, I would bet that this could not be legally ruled "lying down" as both feet are on the floor. Good form, excellent style! I rate this a 9.25 in the Subway Pass Out semifinals. Extra points for not peeing self.

It's sad to see an human beeing in this situation.
It's also quite possible that she is coming from a long day/night of work and taking advantage of a less than full subway car to catch a quick nap.
we all need to lie down from time to time :)
