I love those little bursts of color -- the umbrellas, the plastic bags -- against the dark background of the New Yorker's winter uniform -- the things they carry (with apologies to Tim O'Brien.) Very nice.

I was wondering why no one was looking at you! It was taken from another car. Cool idea!

I am that dude . . . and I wasn't sleeping, just pensive.
Nice caption, Laurence..."our father who art in heaven"...there's a sort of classical grace to this photo - the symmetry, the simplicity, the timelessness because nobody's watching, the guy's strong stance. Like a Greek statue, only there are too many subjects to be a statue and the subway car's one of them.
Is it me or did Zorro leave his mark on this man's jacket?
It's you. ;-) Travis took this from the next car, through the windows in both cars' end doors. See the rounded corners of a window, on the left?
Superbe photo
one of your best, another great urban portrait...
perfect!
many of them reading - fine!
Cool pic Travis!
" I know that dude."
