Graet picture. I immediately thought the woman in the reflection looks so sad...could her seeing the woman with the flowers bring back sad memories of a love once cherished...
The thing about NY is that with 8 million people it is alternately lovely and skull-crushingly lonely - of which this is a prime example.

Wait...but the window lady is MARRIED! And the girl with flowers...she has TWO bunches! This is more complicated than I initially thought. Perhaps the flower girl is sleeping with the married woman's husband, and he gave her flowers from the entry way and NOW....she KNOWS!!!!
