Dag, that's a miracle if I've ever read of one. He is truely lucky to still be here and to be in what appears to be good condition considering what happened to him. I don't mess with going over the orange/yellow lines when looking for a train. Never.
Ignoring the context of the above news story, this image brings the Inferno to mind: "Do not enter or cross tracks" = "Abandon all hope ye who enter here"...the metallic train whisks a blurry soul off into Hell (Manhattan) by crossing under the east river...just as Charon transported damned souls to Hades across the river Acheron via ferry...reds and yellows...caution rat poison sign on the wall...human icon cancelled out by line running through it...AIIIIGHHHH!!!!!!!
