And she sat there like that for 20 minutes. It was almost as if she wanted to be ready to bolt from the train at an given moment.
Three days left to vote in the Photobloggies.
Photobloggies 2006. These are the awards given out to Photoblogers for their work in the past year. I don't usually do much self-promotion but in this instance I would appreciate it if you took the time to consider voting for my site in one (or more) of the categories. Photojournalism, Street Photography or Portrait might be categories the work could fall under. Thank-you for your time.
For sure she would make the Glamour magazine "fashion don'ts" so it's a good thing the fashion police weren't riding the N train. Beyond that silliness I see an immigrant with a troubled history. I didn't even have to read your description as her body posture speaks volumes. So do her eyes with their blank fixed gaze. I just feel she's seen some dangerous times.
It would be interesting to know who you nominated for Photobloggies. I'd like to know your taste in photoblogs.
My goodness. That is pit-of-the-stomach scared, poor woman.
Oh, the poor thing! She looks terrified!
you guys got it wrong, ol girl is a gangsta... shes reachin in her purse for her tool and shes not afraid to use it!
i like the peaceful look (in contrast) on the guy in the right foreground listening to his ipod.
i think her sense of style is cute.
I've seen a few people on the N train look like her. Guarded and cautious looking. She definitely stands out among everyone around her. Another cool picture Travis. Good luck with the Photobloggies. I put my vote in for you amd I hope you win!
nice shot, very nervous girl
