Yes, congratulations! I'm waiting for them to institute a "Best Rural Hick Photoblog" and maybe I'll be in the running!
The latest batch of photos shows another creative surge. For those who don't maintain a daily photoblog you can't imagine how diffifcult it can get sometimes to retain a level of enthusiasm and dedication needed to maintain a project like this for over a year.
Someone asked, "What is your inspiration, how do you decide what to shoot?" I'll venture that Travis might agree with the answer that I blurted out - - "My deadline!!" A self imposed daily deadline forces you to always be looking for the next interesting shot. And sometimes that's not very easy, although Travis continues to make it look that way.
Congratulations again on your multiple nominations - - well deserved!
Hello Travis. I'm impressed by your work! It's a hell of project you work on here. Great images. I'm a fan now!! :))) Thank you!

So incognito. Everything fades into oblivion. The lights, the track, the ceiling, the yellow line, the guy and even the "Bleeker Street" sign. WOW!!

I feel inspired to suggest that everone go and look at Stavro's site. His work is black and white and has a dream like quality not found in digital media. William Klein comes to mind. Thank you for reaching out Stavro! http://www.stavrospapadopoulos.online.de/Photography/
Travis, congrats for the photobloggies listing!
You, your site and photos absolutely deserve it!

Thanks Delacruz. The feedback from so many has been very inspiring.
Farmers Wife: you've mentioned this before about hitting a new stride in the work. That is always such a fascinating comment because as you might guess I don't feel any different. Actually lately I've been a little bored with a fair number of the images I've made. So maybe I'm digging a little deeper and looking at my edits a little differently. It's a curious process to do this everyday. Thanks for following so long!
superb contrast in colors.
Congratulations for the nominations on Photobloggies.
I'm an old visitor of this blog for two reasons: I love trains and photography.
This one is a great photo. The way the lines leed to the hiden guy. Fantastic!
