Looks like the eye of a dragon, peeking at you through a rift of his cave.
Scary and stunning.
I think I've got a new favorite in your galery. ; )

Hey I forgot to mention this is the first photo I've made in the subway using my camera flash. I think it really helped make the train pop off the wall. It was weird when I lowered my camera and I had half the platfrom looking at me. Probably won't do to many more with the flash.
Great moment The contrast between the moving train ant the breaked wall as somebody broken it to see what's in the other side and suddenly the train is passing in high speed. Great!

---- But who constructed the wear and tear; the instance of technology or its degradation ... ;)?
People think our subway is dirty, but really, it's just been running constantly, 24 hours a day for 100 years, so sometimes shit gets cracked, but we'll fix it during Late Nights / Weekends.
I mean, that's more than we can say for YOUR crappy train. I bet your train stops running at night and you have to get on some shady "Night" bus. Hahahahahahahahaha.
*jaw drops*.... wow...
Not only jaw but also foot - Outsatanding
kick-ass/jaw dropping/outstanding
yeah, a real genius loci captured in a frame, a passage opening a book of subway stories ;)
wow i never figured ny subway stations to be so degraded..
i thought the ones in bucharest are desolating, but geez...

I say let them stare at you.
Bravo.
Insane. I love this. Such a unique shot.
This is insane. Congratulations. The wear and tear on the tiles looks carefully constructed. Made me gasp outloud.

A lot of wild, creative and original images I've seen around the blogs today, but this one is the "coolest." Nice work!
Hats off, Travis! Great idea and execution.

Wow what a great scene! Looks like a shot from a movie set but it's real! Great image.
Whooooa,
The color of technology and age. Outstanding Travis.
Is using a flash against some subway rules?
*Klunk!* My jaw just dropped. This is excellent - and the movement is a very nice touch. Well worth a big print.
