I would like to encourage everyone to take a look a fellow NYC photographer that just waded into the blog pool. His name is Jerry Arcieri and this is his site cityinsilence.blogspot.com
I worked with Jerry at the news photo agency SABA back in 2000-02. Every day at lunch he would grab his camera, jump on the subway and travel to some far off street corner and photograph the world in front of him. And I mean every day! He has done it for at least 5 years. These images have mostly gone unseen. So I've been pushing him for awhile now to get a blog. That day has finally come to pass.
He just launched the site yesterday and has a lot to figure out but I think you'll see pretty clearly that he has a great story to tell and you'll want to follow along.
Thanks Travis, I'll add one more blog to the list of must sees!
This image is really terrific . The positioning of the four figures, the blurry movement of the train, you can almost hear the conversation.
The intent of the two conversing and the contrat with the bored looking people on the outside is cool
You got it happening in this shot. Way to go.
