When I first moved to this area I thought this was the worst train stop in the system. I can't say that I now think it's the best, but I've definitely been able to get past my first impression and find the unique and fascinating in the experience. If I were shooting film this image would qualify as that last/first frame on the roll. It's the surprise moment. I hope I can always see these unexpected treasures.
All hope abandon, ye who enter here.
Mysterious. I'm half-expecting to hear the theme song from Law & Order. Dum-dum!
Love the mysterious feel of this photo! Nice shot!
Most of your photos have a gritty real life, in your face, feel to them that I like.
This photo looks like a painting and although it is very different from your normal postings I definitely like it a lot.
Sorry, but I think it is a bad picture. Even I can shoot a picture out of focus
How about the 28th St station on the N/R? The station itself is okay, but often when you come up onto the street you feel like you just entered a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie. Everything is deserted with lots of trash blowing around.
Is this what a subway staion would look like in hell? I think it's a cool shot.Looks spooky.
It doesn't look real, that makes the photo very attractive.
