My next comments are from the perspective of someone who hasn't been on a subway in over 40 years. I'm not the type of person who has many fears or obssesses about things Monk-style, but I would break out in a cold sweat if I stood that close to the edge of the platform.....wearing a large coat that could get caught on any number of mechanical devices or in doors. Enough said, for me this photo has some scary aspects.

What a great time I had in Texas!!! More on that latter! Due to weather I was the last flight in last night from Texas and greeted by knee deep snow this am. My girls are bursting at the seems. And on top of all this fun I've got another photo in today's NY Times. It's a fun story, and in the paper the image runs huge. It's almost the entire top of the fold. Click on enlarge to see the full image. Good times.
Next post I'll give a recap of my Texas adventures.

Great spot Travis, really really like this, the colour of the yellow line, the fur coat and the red hair all merge brilliantly.
How do you move in a coat like this? Love the red hair!
Someone contact PETA, asap!
What a melding of hair and fur, and more hair!

wow, great portrait. still wondering though why someone with a coat like that can't afford a cab ;-)
May be she came from Russia..? In Russia it is a usual situation, when you see dozen of women wear fur coat in subways!
