Thanks to the marathon, we have a great influx of visitors, many from other countries. I know I've encountered a dozen or so, and I hope we're all giving them our best directions to Little Italy, the Empire State building, and so on.
Your pic looks like this: intent travelers who are confident they'll break the code.

This photo reminds me of life in the city. People stacked next to and upon each other, lives and universes separated sometimes by only a matter of inches. I lived in a railroad apt in Hells Kitchen and there was a mirror apt across the hall. The same exact space was occupied by the two apts and we were only separated by a thin wall, maybe no thicker than 6 inches but the two lives lived in those two exact spaces may as well have been a million miles apart. The culture, the class, the language so different that it was hard to imagine the two worlds so close but so far. The city jams us together and as much as we are together we are separate and isolated by often times just a few inches.
another good one

Great image! The fact that we are so close together in big cities but separated by many things is quite sad.
A very thought proviking and insightful web site. A picture is worth a thousand words: you bring that old adage to life!
Interesting composition!
I like this photo.
