I had a conversation with someone today about why everyone always had a serious/non-smiling face in my photos. I like to think of it as their game face. I had to remind them that these images are made early in the day and at the end of a long day. In other words show me a commuter anywhere that is smiling about their situation. Wheater it's in a car in LA, a bus in London, a bike in China or whatever. It's not a joy ride. That said, I've found it takes very little to get a smile out of someone.
In this case this was a very tired three some.
beautifully weary.
thank you

It must have been a long, hard day for all.
Beautiful.
Great shot! I love the matching outfits of the girls and how the colors complement what the mom is wearing. The girls also appear to be twins which only adds to the symmetry of the picture. Very nice!
What lovely, touching shot ... so peaceful. Must've been a long, hard day. Fantastic photo - I enjoy your site immensely, and this one just adds to the pleasure.
Beautiful. They seem so tired and united in the same posture. Great.
Very good picture, perfect composition, perfect framing.
there's something ethereal about this photo, something angelic,it almost has a Renassance quality ,a touch of Michaelangelo
very strong image.
beautiful photo. I have a minor correction though- it's called Union Square NOT Union Station. I don't mean to be picky but that's just not the correct name.
