Last day of summer. Warning, I save all my complaining for winter. It's a crazy trip looking through the viewfinder as the sun flashes between buildings and bridge supports. It's also a wee bit tough getting an exposure right. Digitial is soooo different than shooting film. In many ways it's just too easy to get it right. And getting it wrong is sometimes so exciting.
Amazing. I think your hand picture is by far THE best ever. Congratulations on the past five days, Travis. Excellent work, and I'm very impressed again, much like I was whenver you first started.
mmmmmmmm I ' like, really good atmosphear, I like the light of the sun between towers, it's not a simple esay picture, we see a good wiew of city in setember's month...
The sun was shining down on the city...
I thought I was on the wrong site when this popped up. I enjoy playing with sun flare/lens flare, but it is hard to get anything worth keeping. This one looks like two seperate images split down the center. The left side stardard and plain, with the right side exploding with light.
Crazy how you capture beauty akin to what I remember from living in the colorado mountains; I have always associated the feeling I get from this picture with late afternoon alpenglow. What's so surprising is that this is lower Manhattan. Thanks.
wow. nice shot!
