I went uptown after work today. It's a different crowd on the train going North than my usual South going crowd. Good thing there were no Zacks on the train.

When I found your site today, I first did the obvious and vain thing - I looked for myself. (I also ride the F from Prospect Park into Manhattan every day.) What photos you've taken! Interesting, evocative, beautiful. Thanks for the stunning work, Travis.
Dear Travis, I look at your Phlog every day to give myself a shot of New York and to start the day with an image that will inspire and stimulate me, as a photographer, photmag editor and as an observer of city life. Your photographs are daring, quickly and sublimely framed, and technically perfect. I think you're a great lensman!

The gent's tie really drags my eye towards it. This helps bring my focus to his concentrating face. He sure is focused on his newspaper.
It's the lighting IMO that drags my eye towards it. The lighting on top of his shiny head. And yes, he is focused on his newspaper.
could somebody tell him that his tie simply doesn't go with the newspaper!
