Still at court this week. It's been funny to get off the train at Jay street instead of just transferring across the platform. The most remarkable thing I've noticed about the station is the gum factor. It's like it rained gumballs.

I've been wondering about this myself, lately. Toronto is also covered in gum (though perhaps not to that extent) and yet I never, ever see anyone chewing gum, buying gum, or spitting it out. So where the hell does it come from?
Thats an excellent observation, I was more focused on the color of the woman's dress until I read your comment. Nice shot as always.

Interesting.. I enjoy this contrast of colors and the sense of mystery.
There is a touch of brightness in the photo, hinted with an absence of color. Excellent piece. Travis, I don't know if you realize it or not, but I've been lurking on your site since day 1; i've been here observing all your photos, paying comments only to the ones i especially like. i have changed my background image so many times, it's not even funny. you introduced your photo weblog in a thread on straphangers way back when under the username "tgr23." Ahh, yes, I was so excited that day for finding such a photo weblog on the New York City Subway as I had never found another one like it. I said to myself, "You know what, this guy is pretty good. I'm gonna stay with his photo weblog until it shuts down (if it ever does!! oh gosh, I hope not!!). :D
