I miss the NYC subways! It's been over twenty-five years since my grad student days in the Big Apple. You must be very happy--relieved--that the MTA has backed down from the proposal to ban subway photography.
Do you use auto exposure, or do you use a hand-held light meter? I have always wondered how folks meter on the subway.
This is perhaps one of my favorites. A wonderful portrait of youth and confidence, and a beautiful physical form. Believe me, when you get old you really appreciate all those things. The lights is low keyed and WOW, what more can I say...I love this.
beautiful framing of the man in the middle of the doors. Hard to tell how quickly the train was going, but the blurryness of the train definitely gives the impression that it was moving--which makes the shot that much more impressive. Nicely done!
I wish I had the confidence to dress like that!
summer is coming !
wow. this feels like something from a movie-poster.
great low-key
an amazing perspective of the man! with a passing train in the background, looks amazing!

This is one of my favorites. I love how everything brings you back to the focal point.
