This is just before we go underground at Carrol Street, Brooklyn. It's all dark from here on out. It's always disappointing when we first enter the tunnel. Like I think we were going to get to take the sun with us that day.

i love the writing on the window
thanks to the name you've given for this scene, it seems pretty much like the guy in the sunlight is prepareing for the tunnel that's coming. meditating of some sort or just waiting, obnoxiously.
great play of lights and shadows. very good!
I like the great exposition of this photo.
A little saturation, portray in the dark.
Congratulation
This gives me a feel of weariness. Very nice, especially the crosslight!
The glasses, the spring flowers, the etched windows, the LIGHT! Lovely.
The dark tones work great here, and the writting on the window is great.
I am from California and took my very first trip to New York last October 2004. I took my first subway ride then also. I fell in love with the City. Thank you for taking these pictures everyday, because it's a wonderful reminder of the beauty of the city and the people.
Love that face on the left. Stupidly good photograph.
Beautiful light. The silhouette of the man on the right is just wonderful, with the hair and glasses and all. Very consistent work here Travis, and a very original idea also. Congratulations.
I actually like the slight pixelization on the figure to the right. Interesting photo
~you are creative when you compose in the camera, it's a fine quality in your images and running essay, the golden light on the subject's face far left is XLNT~
I kinda wish they were all still Els.
