This is a very funny shot - notice the contrast between the two men, their clothes( their apparition ) isn`t it the formal informal

This is wonderful, and so universal. Their clothes might "set them apart," but nothing else does -- the man intently up to the technological moment, the woman asleep on her husband's shoulder, the implicit trust between them. If you could photoshop them into western clothes, no one would even blink at them. In fact, it looks like no one did. Lovely shot.

enfad -- we live in a Western country. They are dressed in Eastern clothes. It sets them apart, meaning it makes them more noticeable. (I'd be willing to bet that Travis might not have taken the photograph otherwise.) I don't mean this as a negative statement, but I think it is a simple statement of fact. (BTW -- I lived in the middle east for almost twenty years. And no, it never occurred to me that the man might be inclined to sell the woman. You have rather a strange mindset.)
a lot going on here.. youve really caught my eye. marvelous capture. something you dont see everyday.. but something youd never see here!... nyc subways are the tick.
stunner.

I am drawn to the wedding rings. Western man wears his on his right hand. He must be European. Eastern man wears his on his left hand, just like an American.
That's just fabulous...
the complexity of our society is apparent here. awesome!
That's a very touching photo (and the comment above mine says it all) ... just gorgeous!
